The factory is working to support a local school in Panjayat, pays its workers double their hourly rate for voluntary overtime and sources a chunk of its electricity from solar power.

Union Representation: workers have the right to form a trade union, and there are also committee groups and an Internal Complaints Committee for workers to go to if issues arise.

Fun Facts: SSG creates so much renewable energy from its own wind farm and solar panels that they actually send energy back to the government's energy grid! They also have a modern Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), a Zero Discharge Water Recovery Plant, and a Reverse Osmosis Technology that ensures absolutely no harm to the environment!

SSG also provides social insurance and health service options to workers, as well as subsidised transport, and food in the staff canteen. Not only that, but it pays a daily living wage contribution to each and every worker.
